LECHUZA-PON substrate is stable and inorganic and is great for plants. It retains nutrients which are then released to the plant as needed, regulates the pH value and stores up to 40% of the water volume while maintaining optimal air exchange. Large fertilization errors are avoided thanks to the rebalancing properties of the substrate. LECHUZA-PON stores excess fertilizer and gradually releases it to the plant.

Thanks to these characteristics it is possible to replace it with the normal substrate, obtaining enormous benefits:

• it is inorganic and therefore sterile, it constitutes an unfavorable environment for parasites
• it is stable so it does not run out and there is no need to replace it periodically
• it incorporates the nutrients and releases them little by little according to the plant's needs
• regulates the PH for optimal plant growth
• it retains a good percentage of water and releases it when needed
• allows an exchange of air beneficial to the root system
• buffers any fertilization errors

LECHUZA-PON is made up of pumice, zeolite and lava lapilli granules to which is added a dosage of slow release fertilizer Nitrogen Phosphorus Potassium NPK (15-9-9+3; 3g/L) which guarantees a nutritional supply for about 12 months, after which it is best to periodically administer the necessary fertilizer.

If it is used instead of normal soil, your plants must be watered both over the substrate and directly into the water reserve.
